The Dance of You and I is part of the Symphony series, an exploration of color, rhythm, and the interplay between movement and stillness. In this piece, Michaels describes the creative process as “musical movements that I hear in my head as I create them, both as the composer and the conductor.” The work becomes a dialogue between sound and color, where each brushstroke resonates with the artist’s inner symphony.
The background draws the viewer into a soothing, almost meditative space, while delicate black pulls and lines form the structural foundation—symbols of balance, harmony, and the unseen forces that guide us.
