A bank lock box still bearing tape marked “1979” forms the foundation of the work, preserving its original surface and history while shifting its function. Side One presents a circular form above measured bands of color; Side Two reveals the word LOVE across a field of green and black. Symphony of the Golden Record recasts an object once used to safeguard value as a meditation on rhythm, memory, protection, and what we choose to preserve.
