In Where the Soft Horizon Holds, Michaels composes a serene yet charged triptych of tone: soft pink above, vibrant chartreuse in the center, and a grounding band of storm-gray below. The work operates as both a horizon and a threshold — a quiet field where presence settles and memory breathes.
The pink, luminous and atmospheric, evokes softness without sentimentality — a tonal invocation of tenderness, clarity, and return.
